An Environmental Education Programme connecting Students with Special Needs to the Environment
Nature You & I is all about connecting students with learning disabilities to the environment and their communities through positive outdoor learning experiences.
We believe that an indoor classroom setting is not always the most conducive learning environment for students with special needs. And rather uniquely, Nature You & I gives them
an opportunity to excel and be inspired in completely different ways, all while being engaged in an altogether more holistic learning process. Through our immersive outings, students get to use all their senses, leading to increased independence,
an appreciation for nature and much more.

At its core, Nature You & I is an Environmental Education Programme that connects special needs students and other disadvantaged groups to the environment. At the same time,
we help develop key life skills and encourage their overall well-being and sense of belonging within their communities.
Using environmental education as the main conduit, we work independently or with our public and private partners to give opportunities and new experiences through mother nature –
a pillar that we’re confident shines through in all our concepts and practices.
Being able to work with special needs students is a privilege our staff and volunteers cherish.

For most students with disabilities, opportunities to be involved in environmental education are rare. Even more, outdoor experiences alone may be seen by some as luxuries for students with disabilities.
However, You would be surprised to know that most of our Nature You & I students are independent, capable, curious, excited and absorbed in every experience they are
introduced to.
Nature You & I provides a unique way for them to understand the impact their daily actions have on the natural environment, and to develop social skills in an enriched learning experience designed especially for special needs.
The Nature You & I programme was created to:
- To give life opportunities to special needs students
- To tell society that special needs students are capable
- To provide unique experiences for special needs students
- To connect special needs students to the environment
Special Needs, Environmental Education & Nature Therapy
Nature You & I offers fun-filled environmental education and natural therapy activities that provide unique opportunities for special needs kids to truly experience nature, putting smiles on their faces while instilling a love and appreciation for nature surroundings.
Personalization is our Expertise
We design customized activities for different groups of special need students. Ask our team of consultants what we can do to meet your needs.
Safety is our #1 Priority
We use an effective buddy system where special needs students are paired up with recruited volunteers and are proud of our 100% safety record.
Nature You & I Camps
Generally, Nature You & I Camps are for 2 days and 1 night. With ‘Nature as their Classroom’, participants, staff and volunteers will be thoroughly engaged in environmental education in a safe holistic environment.

Elephant Encounters
Students had the opportunity to experience EEC’s gentle giants or Elephant Teachers – Kwanmuang and Pa Kum Moon.
Scuba Diving & Marine Conservation
Students learned how to scuba dive in the swimming pool, where EEC turned the swimming pool into an ocean with toy corals and fish.
Wildlife Survey
Wildlife survey in the peak of the central region, where the oxygen is the purest and the weather is nice and cold. For the first time the students were exposed to the wildest moss, lichens and ferns, experiencing the different textures and environments.
Market Experience for Social Skills
EEC simulated a market in the peak of the central region, up Khao Yai National Park for the students to engage in a true shopping experience. For the first time they were able to shop around, experience using coins and actually picking what they want from the small shops arranged by our beloved EEC parents.
