OUR STORIES

The ‘Raise them Ready, Raise them Resilient Camp’ was a collaboration between Danone (Hi-Family Club), and EEC aimed at creating resilience in children through structured educational experiences in the great outdoors.
All activities were designed to encourage curiosity, inspire an appreciation for nature, and build resilience to obstacles from a very young age. These were achieved through environmental education and hands-on experiences with nature and wildlife, where parent participation was always encouraged.
Highlight activities included cave surveys studies, elephant studies, astronomy studies and much more.
In accordance with Hi-Family Club’s campaign message, all activities in the camp were aimed at promoting the children’s resilience through:
EEC would like to extend our sincerest thanks to Hi-Family (Danone) for making this great initiative happen and their continued contributions to building resilience in Thailand’s youth in the long-term.
BCPG and EEC joined hands to promote environmental conservation and awareness for the ocean and marine animals. For this project, students from schools around BCPG’s windfarm factories were provided with customized environmental education activities which focused on marine life and biodiversity.
This activity was designed to provide an unforgettable experience for the local students with a trip to the Angtong National Marine Park in Surat Thani.
Amongst the limestone cliffs, blue lagoons, and pristine beaches, and under the guidance of our expert instructors – the students received an in-depth education about the coral and fishes of Southeast Asia, learnt from experiments in the EEC lab, and enjoyed snorkeling and scuba diving to explore the area’s highly diverse marine life.
Through our collaboration we hope to educate the next generation of local youth and instill an awareness of environmental challenges facing marine life in the region and hope that this knowledge inspires action for sustainable conservation in the long-term.
For 2 days 1 night, participants of ‘AIA Healthier, Longer, Better Lives, Press Trip 2019’ had the unique opportunity to get in touch with nature and fill up on fresh air in the very heart of Thailand’s great outdoors.
EEC provided specially designed activities for participants to enhance their spiritual well-being including aquatic therapy, nature therapy, canvas bag painting with music therapy, and being active in a tranquil natural environment.
This collaboration was inspired by AIA’s brand promise which encompasses a wide range of health and wellness initiatives for the sustainable development of Thai society.
After spending time in a holistic and active atmosphere, participants gained a deeper appreciation and understanding of how they can live healthier, longer, and better lives through nature.
EEC would like to extend our sincerest thanks to AIA, invited members of the press, and all participants who joined us for environmental activities aimed at achieving a healthier and better life for all.

An inspiring collaboration with New Generation of Business Owners South of Thailand (YES) to help bring recognition to the natural charm and valuable resources of the Hala Bala Wildlife Sanctuary. Located in Thailand’s southernmost point, Hala Bala contains the country’s richest and most ecologically diverse forests, making it a prime area for environmental education and conservation.
Together, YES and EEC contributed to preserving cultural resources, art, and shared knowledge about the way of life of the indigenous people of Narathiwat Province. Most importantly, EEC offered a platform to discuss how all parties can help to promote sustainable resource development in Thailand’s southern region.
EEC thanks YES for joining us in Hala Bala and for their continued commitment to environmental conservation and preservation of our cultural resources.
Surrounded by nature, employees of Deutsche Bank had the opportunity to participate in environmental education activities with special needs students. Together, they learned that sharing and giving enhances public benefit and were inspired to always strive for growth and improvement in all aspects.

EXPERTISE: MARINE BIOLOGY
Instructor and resident Veterinarian Parn believes that treating living organisms not only involves mending their illnesses, but that it is also vital and necessary to preserve their habitat, ecosystems, population and community. Importantly, conservation begins with education and understanding which will lead to appreciation, love, and empathy for animals and our environment.
Furthermore, Instructor Parn indicates that by preserving nature we are in turn helping ourselves as we live in ‘one environment with one health’ where negative factors that affect the environment also impact upon humans.
This vital learning process can only happen when there is a collaboration between experienced experts from different fields. As part of this commitment, Instructor Parn is a vital member of the EEC team and is a big part of educating children and youth through the principles of environmental education and sustainability.
EXPERTISE: ENVIRONMENTAL EXPLORATION AND ACTIVITIES / NATURAL STUDIES
Instructor Earth considers “nature a true friend” having had a close connection to the environment from a very young age all the way through to the experienced naturalist he is today – She considers her experiences an incentive to find the meaning of a valuable life that is filled with intrigue about complicated natural processes. To achieve this, education and understanding are pivotal.
Moreover, Instructor Earth considers teaching to be the best way to transfer knowledge and nurture an appreciation for nature. She also deems that the best time to instill this belief is when the recipients are relatively young, allowing instructors to cultivate a consciousness for conservation as well as respect for nature.
EXPERTISE: CONSERVATION BIOLOGY
Always smiling and happy to help, Instructor Dream was first inspired to nature after participating in birdwatching at university and later while studying gibbon behavior at Khao Yai National Park. These and other activities culminated in a keen interest in Conservation Biology and Marine and Coastal Resources Management. All of which are vital disciplines which when integrated with her own personal stories and experiences, can help educate and raise awareness about the importance of nature, including its’ sustainable use and conservation.
Ultimately, Instructor Dream believes in nurturing a positive feeling towards nature and embracing the true joy that can only be experienced through our natural world.
EXPERTISE: MARINE BIOLOGY
From a very young age Instructor Knot always had a strong passion for science and nature. It encompassed his childhood and when the time came, he decided to pursue his passion and specialized in the field of Marine Biology at university level. Then came opportunities to teach science and biology courses to students and other youth where he fell in love with, as he puts it, ‘the transfer of knowledge’.
Instructor Knot believes that a knowledge and understanding of natural mechanisms through scientific processes is an important foundation that can truly have a positive impact on nature and the environment.
